Ingredients:
- 115 g Unsalted butter
- 115 g Semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 45 g Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 200 g Granulated sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 5 ml Vanilla extract
- 65 g All-purpose flour
- 1.5 g Salt
- 130 g Semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions:
- Line your pan with parchment paper. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chopped chocolate together, stirring until the mixture is smooth and glossy. Whisk in the cocoa powder until fully incorporated, then remove from heat.
- In the same pan or a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is pale and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract. Slowly pour in the melted chocolate mixture, whisking until combined.
- Gently fold in the flour and salt using a spatula—stop the moment no white streaks remain to avoid over-mixing. Fold in the chocolate chips. Spread the batter evenly into the pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes, until the edges are firm and pull away slightly from the sides, but the center remains soft.
