Ingredients:
- 1 cup (255g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated white sugar
- 1 large (50g) egg
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg.
- Stir or whisk the mixture until the dough is smooth and glossy.
- Scoop approximately 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a 1-inch ball.
- Place dough balls 2 inches apart on the baking sheet and use a fork to press a crosshatch pattern into the top of each.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges turn a deep mahogany color while the centers remain slightly soft.
- Remove from the oven immediately to prevent overbaking.
