Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Pat the cubed steak completely dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear.
- In a medium bowl, toss the steak bites with avocado oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Place a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until the oil begins to shimmer.
- Add steak bites in a single layer (work in batches if necessary). Sear undisturbed for 2 minutes, flip, and sear for another 2 minutes.
- Transfer the seared steak bites to a plate immediately.
- Lower the burner heat to medium-low and add the butter to the pan.
- Once the butter foams, stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
- Return the steak to the pan and toss for 1 minute until glazed. Garnish with chopped parsley.
