Ingredients:
- 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated white sugar
- 1 large (50g) egg, room temperature
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure a non-stick surface.
- Combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg in a bowl. Beat on medium speed until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is fully integrated.
- Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a 1-inch ball. Place balls 2 inches apart on the sheet.
- Press down with a fork in one direction, then again in the opposite direction to create the signature crosshatch pattern.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes. Remove from the oven when the edges are just set and lightly browned, but the centers still look slightly soft.
