Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated white sugar
  • 1 large (50g) egg, room temperature

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure a non-stick surface.
  2. Combine the peanut butter, sugar, and egg in a bowl. Beat on medium speed until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is fully integrated.
  3. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a 1-inch ball. Place balls 2 inches apart on the sheet.
  4. Press down with a fork in one direction, then again in the opposite direction to create the signature crosshatch pattern.
  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes. Remove from the oven when the edges are just set and lightly browned, but the centers still look slightly soft.
