Ingredients:
- 12 oz (340g) Penne or Farfalle pasta
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook for 2 minutes less than the package directions for al dente.
- Drain the pasta thoroughly and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process and remove excess starch.
- Pat the drained pasta dry with a paper towel to ensure maximum crispiness.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the pasta with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in the grated Parmesan cheese until the pasta is evenly coated.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the pasta in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring the pieces are not touching.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until the pasta is golden-brown and hard to the touch.
