Ingredients:

  • 12 oz (340g) Penne or Farfalle pasta
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook for 2 minutes less than the package directions for al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta thoroughly and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process and remove excess starch.
  3. Pat the drained pasta dry with a paper towel to ensure maximum crispiness.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, toss the pasta with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fold in the grated Parmesan cheese until the pasta is evenly coated.
  6. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Spread the pasta in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring the pieces are not touching.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until the pasta is golden-brown and hard to the touch.
