Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup beef bone broth
- 4 oz cream cheese
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup full-fat sour cream
Instructions:
- Place a 12-inch cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and allow it to melt until it begins to foam.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it into small chunks with a spatula. Cook without stirring too often until the meat is mahogany-colored and slightly crisp on the edges.
- Pour in the beef bone broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to release the browned bits. Stir in the softened cream cheese, mixing continuously until completely melted.
- Lower the heat to medium-low. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer gently for 5–7 minutes until the sauce reaches a velvety consistency.
- Remove the pan from the heat entirely. Fold in the sour cream, sea salt, and black pepper, stirring until the sauce is glossy and smooth.
