Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) Ground Breakfast Sausage
- 8 oz (225g) Thick-cut Bacon, diced
- 1/2 lb (225g) Ground Beef
- 10 Large Eggs
- 4 oz (115g) Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Heavy Cream
- 2 cups (225g) Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Instructions:
- Place the diced bacon in a cold skillet over medium heat. Fry until the fat renders and the pieces are mahogany-colored and crisp.
- Add the ground sausage and ground beef to the same pan. Cook, breaking the meat apart with a spatula, until no pink remains and the edges are browned.
- Drain excess grease from the pan if a firmer set is preferred.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the 10 eggs until the yolks and whites are fully combined and pale yellow.
- Stir in the softened cream cheese and heavy cream, whisking vigorously until the mixture is smooth and no lumps remain.
- Spread the browned meats evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Pour the egg custard over the meat, ensuring it fills all gaps.
- Top the casserole with a generous layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden-brown.
