Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 6 large eggs
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter. Add the ground beef and sea salt, cooking until the meat is deeply browned and smells nutty, breaking the beef into small crumbles.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and heavy cream. Use a whisk to blend until smooth and velvety. Beat in the eggs and salt one by one until the mixture is completely homogenous and pale yellow.
- Pour the egg mixture directly over the browned beef in the skillet. Spread the beef evenly with a spatula. Top with the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the edges are golden-brown and the center has a slight, custard-like jiggle. Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
