Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter. Add the ground beef and sea salt, cooking until the meat is deeply browned and smells nutty, breaking the beef into small crumbles.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and heavy cream. Use a whisk to blend until smooth and velvety. Beat in the eggs and salt one by one until the mixture is completely homogenous and pale yellow.
  3. Pour the egg mixture directly over the browned beef in the skillet. Spread the beef evenly with a spatula. Top with the grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the edges are golden-brown and the center has a slight, custard-like jiggle. Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
