Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) Rigatoni or Penne
- 1 tsp (6g) salt for boiling water
- 2 tbsp (28g) olive oil
- 1/2 tsp (3g) garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp (3g) smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) black pepper
- 2 tbsp (8g) finely grated parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil.
- Add pasta and cook for 2 minutes less than the package directions for al dente to ensure a firm bite.
- Drain pasta immediately in a colander; do not rinse to maintain residual starch for oil adherence.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the hot, drained pasta into the oil mixture until every piece is glistening.
- Fold in the finely grated parmesan cheese until evenly distributed.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the seasoned pasta in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10–15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes, until the pasta is mahogany-colored and hard to the touch.
